Content – What should go on your website

     The more textual content about your business and services that are on your webpage the better for traffic results you will receive.  A variety of pages with content that is specific material helps build credibility with search engines.  A search engine spider comes to your website and crawls your site to find out what information is available from this website.  The more traffic and the adding of content bring spiders back to your website to search for more.  The sooner the spider comes back to your website the better.  One way to see when the last time the Google spider came to your website is to search www.google.com for your website.  Then when you see your webpage selected Cashed next to your link.  This will tell you the last time a Google spider crawled your website.      

Tricks for content:      
    
Bold important things in your content, SE spiders take bold into consideration.  Spiders read from top left across the top of the page, then down the right side of the page and then across the bottom, searching for a sitemap at the bottom, then coming up the left side of the page.
  You can also use Sitemaps to help Search Engine Spiders to tell them what on your site for them to search.  Use testimonials on your website.  People want to see how other companies are benefiting from using your products.  Here is an example of a great landing page.  It has a testimonial and a call to action.  Nice, simple and effective.  http://www.swiftpage2.com/PowrdBy1.htm
