Content – The invisible content

In addition to your content you have 3 ways to outline your web pages.  Each page on your website has a title, a description and keywords. With your site being in php format this allows one title, description, and set of 20 keywords.  To make your pages more relevant you can have each page have their own title, description, and set of 20 keywords.  For example, your services / products page should have “Your Most Important Phrase” as the first keywords, and all the rest of the title and description should be about general services and products that you offer.
Title:  The title is what appears in search engine findings.  It is also what gets displayed on the title bar in the web browser.  You should your content specific words.  
Example: Twin Taylors – Men’s Fashion, Metro-Sexual Clothes, Shoes, Jeans and Clothing.  The Metro-Sexual Guide to Men’s Fashion

Description:  You are given 250 words to describe your website, make it relevant to everything on your website.  Example:  Twin Taylors is a online Guide to Men’s Fashion, providing Men with fashion tips, advice and assistance on what to wear, where to buy it, when to wear it, how to wear it and most importantly, why to wear it.

Keywords:     Keywords in your html code are very important and should be use wisely since you are only given 20 words to use.  You should use words that pertain to your website and industry.  These are your most import keywords for search engine spiders. Example: Mens Fashion, Men’s Fashion, Fashion, Fashion Blog, Metrosexual, Chris Taylor,  Metro-Sexual, Fashion Coupons, Fashion Discounts, Clothes, Mens Clothes, Men’s Clothes, Mens Clothing, Men’s Clothing, Diesel, Prada, Steve Madden, Womens Fashion, Twin Taylors 

Sitemaps:     Sitemaps tell Google and other search engines what is on your site.  Google allows you to submit your sitemap to them what is on your website.  This is basically an outline of what is on your site.  You submit the domain of your site so whenever it is updated Google know so send it robot out to go and crawl your website, to find the new information.  http://www.google.com/webmasters/sitemaps/docs/en/about.html

Rank Quest is a great tool for analyzing your content on your website as a search engine would view it. You can visit www.rankquest.com and put in your website URL to view how spiders are viewing your site. Rank Quest has a variety of tools to help with your analysis     

Keyword Finder – The keyword finder crawls your site and tells you what keywords you are using and if you have to many or to few keywords.      

Meta Tag Analyzer – The Meta Tag Analyzer examines the Meta information of the entered URL and lets you know if the content is Search Engine friendly or not     

 Keyword Density Analyzer – Keyword Density Analyzer is a good tool to see what keywords are being picked up most by the search engine spiders
